Reebok Revamps Collection From The Nineties

Reebok is re-releasing it’s nineties inspired classic vector range. Anais Gallagher, the daughter of Oasis front man Noel Gallagher, is the perfect person to model the gear as the next generation of nineties pop star. The photographer of the campaign is Vicky Grout, known as London’s photographer of the Grime music scene. Grime is influenced by UK garage and characterised by machine like sounds.

“We shot in the East London against a brutalist and urban backdrop, I felt like the shoot had to be in an urban setting” said Vicky Grout. Vicky Grout just had her first solo exhibition at the Hoxton Gallery in London

As well as model Anais Gallagher, this fashion shoot also features actor Raleigh Ritchie shot by Jon Attenborough, who is known for his role in Game of Thrones.
Nineties sportswear and British music of the ‘naughties’ are experiencing a resurgence in popularity, and Reebok is making a comeback. In the nineties Reebok vector and it’s iconic logo was worn by professional athletes, hip hop artists and ravers alike. The sportswear has been reworked but still has the signature red, blue and white logo and baggy silhouettes. The new line features sweaters, hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, windbreakers and t-shirts and is for autumn/winter 2016.

“Some brands go quiet and over the past few year Reebok Classic is coming back big!” said Vicky Grout.

Reebok has tapped into the resurgence of nineties music by hiring grime photographer Vicky Grout. The re-release of Reebok’s vector range is also tapping into the previous success this line found when it was first brought out in the nineties.
