Jason Segel plays Will, Redford’s son and rounding out the cast is Rooney Mara who plays a woman with a troubled past that Will falls for. The use of Roy Orbison’s song, “Only the Lonely” and the chilly visuals hints at unsettling layers of mystery and violence.  This sci-fi romance is sure to leave you wondering, what would I do?
Ghost in the Shell
If you like movies about artificial intelligence then Ghost in the Shell is the cyberpunk/action/sci-fi film for you. Based on the popular Japanese manga of the same name, it follows a cyborg policewoman, played by Scarlett Johansson, as she attempts to bring a iniquitous computer hacker to justice. The film has already attracted controversy and come under fire for “whitewashing” due to the casting of Scarlett Johansson to play an asian character. Check out the trailer below!
The Circle

If that’s your speed then check out The Circle, an upcoming science fiction thriller starring Emma Watson, Tom Hanks and Karen Gillian. Based on the Dave Eggers’ novel of the same name, the film is set to be released at the end of April.
