Lindsay Lohan has set the Twitterverse afire, tweeting news of her upcoming role on Sky 1’s British Comedy Sick Note, alongside stars Rupert Grint and Nick Frost.
Lohan tweeted an earnest picture of herself between Sick Note stars Rupert Grint and Nick Frost, on set for the filming of season two.

Sick Note revolves around the shortcomings of protagonist Daniel Glass (played by Grint), a man incorrectly diagnosed with a terminal illness and then convinced by his incompetent doctor to lie about the misdiagnosis and continue garnering attention from his friends. Lindsay has been cast as Katerina West, the daughter of Daniel’s boss (played by Don Johnson).
This role, and a formidable lob, mark a surprising yet refreshing turn for the previously troubled star, with her last notable acting gigs being one-ep wonders on series 2 Broke Girls in 2013, and Eastbound & Down in 2014.
With the bizarre accent scandal of late 2016 fresh in our minds, we’re hoping Linds will be able to channel her inner Annie James (Parent Trap) for this gig.
The first season of the series is set to release later this year on Sky 1, so fans will have to bide their time until season two to catch Lindsay and her (hopefully refined) British accent.
