FIB caught up with Kate Squires backstage at the 2018 Akira show.
“There’s an overall feeling of romanticism throughout the show so with the makeup the idea was for the girls to look super, super polished; but the colour story still has that romanticism to it. We’re using are our new Invisible Highlight which is a luminiser on the high points of the face. Then we’re actually using a lipstick all over the rest of the face; it’s a combination of peach, chocolate, or a peachy-taupe depending on the model’s skin tone. This colour is going all the way around the eye, on the lip and on the cheek as well. Brows are left natural and the lashes are just being curled.” – Kate Squires
