Ed Sheeran is back!! And his appearance has generated quite a bit of intrigue
Having sold over 150 million records worldwide, Ed Sheeran is one of the most recognized figures in the music industry. But lately the songwriter has taken a step back from all the glitz and glamour. Back in 2019, the singer took to Instagram to post this announcement:
Additionally, Ed Sheeran has been taking on a whole new adventure. Back in September of 2020, the musician and his wife welcomed daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran into the world.
New Project
Recently though, pictures have emerged of the Grammy Award winning artist partway through quite the creative project. Tousled, lighter hair, a pink suit, and…fangs? The musician’s vampiric appearance caused onlookers to speculate.
The two-day shoot took place on Thursday and Friday last week.
One member of the public stated:
“He’s obviously planning for a big comeback. At times you could hear music playing which sounded great, but it wasn’t something I’d heard before.”

For his 30th birthday earlier this year Ed Sheeran posted a photo with the following message:
Having released albums plus, multiply and divide many have guessed that Ed Sheeran may be filming a video for upcoming music.
Filming took place at Catford, South-East London on the 15th and 16th of April. The songwriter was later spotted the roof of the venue, out of costume, with crew.
Background
Over the years, the talented songwriter has won various accolades for his efforts. Ed Sheeran had consistently been a recipient of the BMI London Award from 2013-2017. ‘Lego House’, ‘Photograph’ and ’Thinking Out Loud’ were just some of his compositions to receive this honour. ‘Shape of You’ won the Global Award for Most Played Song in 2018. Additionally, his album Divide won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Recently Ed Sheeran received the Billboard Music Award for Top Touring Artist in 2019.
In addition to this, the artist actively contributes to works of philanthropy. In 2019, the musician established the Ed Sheeran Suffolk Music Foundation. Donations through the charity have granted aspiring youths in the creative fields resources to utilize. Furthermore, the songwriter has donated significant monetary assistance to other foundations in response to the impacts caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As the artist takes on this new chapter of his life, we can’t wait to see what Ed Sheeran has in store.
