After meeting on New Year’s Eve, Kanye West and his new girlfriend Julia Fox have been spotted galivanting as a new couple across the globe.
In 2020, Kim Kardashian made a public announcement that her 7-year long marriage to Kanye West was over. Following West’s constant stream of controversies, the socialite was at her breaking point. Most notably, West had a public outburst on Twitter where he spoke about several private matters within the family.
Since their separation, Kim has been seen with SNL topliner Pete Davidson which has sparked dating rumours.
But what about Kanye’s love life?
On New Year’s Eve, West met the ‘Uncut Gems’ star Julia Fox at a surprise Miami performance. Fox herself had nothing but good words to say about their first interaction, describing West as ”laughing, dancing and smiling all night”.
Dinner and A Show
Since their first meeting, the pair have been photographed on several dates including a dinner at Italian/American restaurant ‘Carbone’ in early January. Following the meal, Kanye directed Fox in an impromptu photoshoot in the middle of the NYC restaurant.
Couples that Match Together, Stay Together
Most recently, we were seeing double as West and Fox attended Paris Men’s Fashion Week in matching denim outfits. Fox wore a Schiaparelli denim jacket, chunky gold statement earrings and finished the look with a striking smokey eye look.
The couple then coordinated their outfits yet again when attending the Schiaparelli show in matching leather numbers.
Like most public couples, many people have speculated that the relationship is a publicity stunt and Fox is in it for the attention. She stated in an interview that:
“It’s funny cause I’m getting all of this attention, but I really couldn’t care…People are like ‘Oh, you’re only in it for the fame, you’re in it for the clout, you’re in it for the money.’ Honey, I’ve dated billionaires my entire adult life, let’s keep it real.”
So, as the new pair flourish into a closer couple, we only hope for more matching outfits and impromptu photoshoots.
