Film Vixens of Today Set to Team Up in Spin Off Film

Megan Fox – the sultry vixen with a strong onscreen presence. Margot Robbie – the girl next door blonde with striking, bad-ass appeal. What is it that captivates us about two of today’s biggest sex symbols and the possibility of being cast in an upcoming film alongside each other?

Megan Fox has an unattainable way of drawing you in and for a majority of the time, we might find ourselves watching films, only for the actress herself, rather than because of the movie itself – sorry, Michael Bay. She enthuses that whole popular girl in school that everyone wishes they could be like.

The irony of that is that Megan has said herself that she was never the popular girl in school and often ate lunch alone in the bathroom. Perhaps the iconic charm and confidence that became one of today’s biggest feature film sex symbols is that same thing that ultimately left her feeling misunderstood.

2009-published horror movie Jennifer’s Body was, whilst it was underrated and a box office failure, one of our favorite Megan Fox films to date. Megan plays Jennifer, the boy-eating cheerleader is without question the role Megan Fox was born to play and killed it – literally and metaphorically.

She is sassy and sarcastic enough to nail every bit of Diablo Cody’s (Juno) signature slang-heavy dialogue but still captivates everyone with her vulnerability and sweetness to the point that we root for her, even though she turns out to be the bad guy. It was also different to see Adam Brody playing a villain, especially, if you are someone who is used to seeing his sweet and nerdy character portrayals like in 2000’s hit TV show The O.C.  Jennifer’s Body showcased her ability to shine as a dark comedic actress.

Aussie sweetheart Margot Robbie not only stole the scene in Wolf of Wall Street alongside Leonardo Di Caprio – and also slapped him across the face at the audition and got the part – but she reveals an incredible likeability and down-to-earth vibe. Margot may have stolen the show as sassy Naomi Lapaglia in Wolf of Wall Street, but our favorite character she has played so far, must be her phycologist turned psycho Harley Quinn role for 2016s Suicide Squad.

The plot of Suicide Squad at times lacked momentum and felt somewhat dazed and distorted in its plot delivery. But Robbie infused a quirky and eccentric bizarre quality to Harley’s role, which made her stand out as one of the strongest and most entertaining characters in the film, giving light to moments in the Suicide Squad that could have lost momentum without her.

Megan Fox and Margot Robbie fans will be happy to know that there have been talks about an act alongside each other in the female DC super villain team-up, called Gotham City Sirens.

Suicide Squad‘s David Ayer and Margot Robbie are slated to return – Robbie an executive producer on the project – but the question now is which other characters could join her — and who might play them in the spin-off?

It should come as no surprise that Harley Quinn’s BFF Poison Ivy is believed to be involved in the movie , this is very much just a rumour for now although Fox has said before that Poison Ivy is a character she’d like to play and sources have said that some very interesting comic book titles have been shipped to her Warner Bros. Studios address, including Harley Quinn #14 and Harley Quinn #17, both of which feature Poison Ivy.
