Ahead of Wonder Woman breaking some box office records and being officially named the number one film in the world, some of our favourite Hollywood stars turned to social media to support the film. Check out what they had to say below!

Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman took to twitter today to thank everyone who showed up in cinemas, helping to make the film a huge box office success.

Jessica Chastain was an early and very enthusiastic advocate for the film. A+ for the Beyoncé reference too.

Cutest Dress-up?

And Joss Whedon had a response for all those men whose feelings were hurt by the women-only screenings.

As for who would win in a fight between Thor and Wonder Woman? Chris Hemsworth and Gal Gadot are on the same page.
