Since being hit with the news that designer labels like Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood and Stuart Weitzman were going to design their own versions of Cinderella’s iconic glass slipper (which you can read about here), we have been obsessing over Cinderella’s extravagantly bold wardrobe. So when actress Lily James turned up to the premiere of the live action version of the classic fairytale looking extremely Cinderella-esque, we couldn’t have been happier.

Instead of shying away from her Cinderella character on the red carpet, James fully embraced the fairytale feel from head to toe (literally – right down to her glittering Christian Louboutins).

The sparkling Elie Saab couture gown boasted pure Cinderella elegance, with long sleeves, a graceful train and intricate detailing.

Another bold move by the actress was pairing an extravagant, show-stopping dress with equally extravagant heels. But it definitely paid off, considering the much-loved fairytale was all about that iconic glass slipper. The Christian Louboutin shoe was covered in lace and embellishments that was definitely fit for a princess.

And of course, even Cinderella needs to accessorize! In addition to some shimmering jewels on her earlobes and fingers, Lily accessorized with a Charlotte Olympia clock clutch, which was part of the designer’s fairytale-inspired collection.

The movie is set for its March 13 release and stars Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and Richard Madden. Until then you can read more about designer Elie Saab here from Amazon Books.
