Italian fashion designer Giambattista Valli has already brought the world a myriad of stunning, unforgettable pieces through big name celebrities like Rihanna, Emma Watson, Jessica Biel and Emma Stone, but now the Haute Couture fashion house is diving into the world of denim with premium denim label 7 For All Mankind.
But don’t expect anything less than extraordinary – the capsule collection is bright, edgy and bold, with high-waisted skinnies and slim fit jeans in a range of animal prints and lipstick hues in perfect shades of pink, red and orange.
Giambattista Valli has revealed that denim clad pin-up stars like Brooke Shields played a big role in inspiring the collection. “Denim fascinates me, as I am naturally drawn to exploring new grounds. In this respect, 7 For All Mankind is an excellence, so pairing with them came as a natural choice,” says Valli. “I used denim as a canvas onto which project my vision, thinking of a decidedly young, multicultural clientele of glamorous Valli girls. I worked on both shapes and fabrics, delivering jeans with a strong identity, quite unique for cut and treatment.”
The Italian fashion house is not the first luxury brand to work with the 7 For All Mankind label, following the likes of Zac Posen and Emilio Pucci. The collection is available online and in-store now, retailing from between $350 and $650.
