Ladies of Tinder: have you recently stumbled across Leonard? 40 years old, bearded, little extra padding and baseball cap permanently affixed to his head? If you did and swiped left, too bad. You may have turned down an opportunity with one of the sexiest men in the world.
According to an anonymous source for Star Magazine, eternally eligible bachelor Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted to using Tinder under the all-too-subtle alias Leonard. The source reportedly sidled up to the actor during Coachella where he admitted he was “using the dating app.”
The source questioned Leo on the subject and the actor confessed “he hasn’t been on any dates yet – but is obsessed with swiping on girls and seeing who’s out there.” And apparently he’s not alone, claiming “there’s actually a lot of other celebs who use Tinder just for fun!”
We here at FIB recommend taking the news about our Style Icons cover boy with a healthy dose of scepticism. An unnamed source from a tabloid magazine doesn’t exactly inspire confidence, after all.
Then again, this is a man notoriously hard to tie down, even in his forties. And it doesn’t seem a stretch to find the man who founded Hollywood clique Pussy Posse on a casual dating app.
So let’s suppose, just suppose, the story is true: a man with the sexual clout of Leonardo DiCaprio, who, after spending close to two decades exclusively dating models and movie stars, has descended the mountain in order to compete with the likes of we mere mortals on Tinder.
