Victoria’s Secret is not-so-secretly one of the world’s favourite brands. The multi-billion dollar American company has revolutionised the modelling world entirely and has accrued an untouchable level of prestige. With names of modelling legends such as Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen having worked for the brand in the past, their ability to be selective with who they bring into the team is evident and they exercise that freedom well.
This is why it comes as a surprise that they brought not one or two, but ten lovely ladies all at once. “The expanded line up gives the lingerie brand the largest group of contract models in its history and will certainly bring a more international fan base to the multi-billion dollar retailer.”

Taylor Hill is an American beauty with a down-to-earth attitude, hailing from Colorado and she loves outdoor activities such as snowboarding and paintballing. She was discovered rather unexpectedly in a barn and by 2013, she was featured on Intimissimi’s catalog. The stunner was voted “2015’s most promising model” by Couturesque’s readers, and rightfully so seeing as she is now a VS angel after just recently turning 19.
Jasmine Tookes is an all American sporty Cali girl who grew up being highly active with gymnastics, volleyball and softball which is likely why she has her amazing body. Her mother is a celebrity stylist so naturally Tookes was discovered initially at her mother’s work. Starting out for ad campaigns she eventually shot up to stardom and started walking for fashion week and ultimately Victoria’s Secret of course.
Kate Grigorieva: This Russian beauty is a ballet dancer and got a degree in marketing before strutting down the runways. Even at her young age Grigorieva has already been awarded Miss Russia 2012 and came in as runner up in the fourth season of Russia’s Next Top Model. Following her appearance on the show, 2014 was considered her breakout year and we saw her walking for everyone.
Elsa Hosk is a Swedish stunner started modelling when she was only fourteen. Then after deciding to place more focus on he studies and sports as she was a professional basketball player, she later returned to modelling which has clearly ended up working out alright for the now 26-year-old blonde bombshell.
Lais Ribeiro, the Brazilian born babe started small in 2009 modelling locally and then became an international sensation. She initially started off going to nursing school but ultimately put her full focus into modelling and was walking for giants like Chanel, Gucci, and Louis Vuitton to name a few.
Sara Sampaio from Portugal is a kick-butt babe with a brown belt in karate, yet she also has a softer side and is a violinist as well. She busted onto the scene upon winning the Cabelos Pantene contest in 2007. From then on out her success only grew as she was gracing the covers of magazines left and right. She won Portuguese Golden Globe awards in the years 2011, 2012 and 2014 for Best Female Model.
Monika ‘Jac’ Jagaciak is a Polish girl given the nickname Jac from her agency IMG Models after they signed her back in 2007. With athletics literally running in her blood (from her father being a coach, her mother being a physical education teacher and her sister being named as Poland’s best long jumper) her exposure to sports at a young age produced her incredible body. Debuting on in 2009 at just 15 at New York Fashion Week, she quickly became one of the most talked about girls of the season.
Romee Strijd is a gorgeous girl hailing from The Netherlands. Although she only started walking for VS last year, she has worked for plenty of big names like Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen, and Burrberry. She has also graced the covers of many international beauty/ fashion magazines. She keeps up her killer body by having a variety of work outs she engages in from boxing to Pilates.
Martha Hunt is an American model and southern sweetheart from South Carolina and familiar face of the clothing brand Free People. After being discovered by a photographer in her home state, she was soon being introduced to agencies in New York, eventually being signed on with IMG Models and jetting off to Paris for her first fashion show in 2007.
Stella Maxwell is a truly an international beauty. Originally from the United Kingdom, her family moved to Australia and eventually New Zealand, where at the age of 14 she was discovered. She has appeared in fashion magazines all over the world as well as super star runways for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott.
With each of these girls having million dollar model physiques, young relatable attitudes, and powerful social media presences, it’s no wonder these were the elite few graced with this opportunity. With that being said however, these ladies didn’t get to the top-tier by accident and it is apparent by their hard work and immense strategy at play to be granted the wings of an angel.
