The headlining and chart-topping band Florence + The Machine have revealed that they will delight a handful of Sydney siders with a secret show the day before their slot at the annual Splendour In The Grass festival in Byron Bay.
After their unplanned headlining of Glastonbury in place of the Foo Fighters just two weeks ago, (thanks for that by the way, Dave Grohl, hope you’re feeling better though). The English band will headline one of Australia’s most loved music festivals, Splendour In The Grass in July this year. The band announced a secret show on July 24 for competition winners, the location at which is yet to be disclosed, or even hinted at.
Demand for the show will be massive, as the groups third studio album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, is their second Australian number one album. Tickets are not going to be made available to the general public, but through a competition held by Channel V and the KIIS radio network.
It is not often that life gives one the opportunity to potentially act out a fantastic movie for real, but Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist may just come to fruition for whoever is lucky enough to score a ticket to what will no doubt be an intimate and exceptional evening of music.
