Coldplay Debut New Track “Amazing Day”

Coldplay have announced they will be releasing their seventh studio album “A Head Full of Dreams” before the end of the year, and “Amazing Day” may be the first preview into the album.

The band performed the new track, “Amazing Day,” last weekend at the annual Global Citizen Festival in New York City, alongside Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam and others.

The track could possibly be a preview into the bands new album. “A Head Full of Dreams” is set to be their follow up from last year’s “Ghost Stories,” and it has also been suggested that the album could possibly be their last.

“It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something like that,” Chris Martin said (via Consequence of Sound).

“Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something… I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing. Otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it.”
