After supporting Eminem’s Rapture festival tour in Australia last year, Kendrick Lamar is coming back to perform his first solo act since his 2012 tour for good kid, m.A.A.d. city.
King Kunta himself, Kendrick Lamar, has announced he will perform solo shows in 2016, touring to Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Bay.
The Compton-native MC will kick off his tour in Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena March 21. Sydney’s Allphones Arena will hold his second performance on March 23, ending with a headline show at Bluefest on March 24.
King Kunta is one of many international acts headlining the Byron Bay festival next year, performing alongiside The National, City and Colour, The Cat Empire and The Decembrists.
