At her New York Fashion Week debut, Mali Koopman proudly struts the runway for 3.1 Phillip Lim, Altuzarra, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Lacoste, Narciso Rodriguez, Public School, Tory Burch and Vera Wang.
The 19-year-old is favoured to be Australia’s next big young talent export for the fashion world after her entry into the international stage, merely two years into her modeling career.

From the runways of Sydney to New York, Koopman’s talent for the fashion platform is not easily missed. Her rising star status was confirmed at her showstopping appearance at Calvin Klein. Koopman found comfort in the New York casting process as she noticed some similarities with Sydney.
Koopman’s international debut success contributed to her positive experience at the fashion week shows.

Koopman is a regular 19-year-old, binge watching Avatar – The Last Airbender in her free time and pursuing her passion for architecture, like her parents. Her studies have been deferred to focus on her modeling career but she is devoted to completing her studies in Australia or the USA.
