Robert Pattinson The New Designer In Town

Dior’s  favourite muse, Robert Pattinson has revealed he will be starting his designer label in an exclusive interview with Numéro.

Pattinson already made history with Dior by becoming the film artist to be the face of the Dior Homme RTW Autumn 2016 Menswear after renewing his contract with the fashion house just over two weeks ago. This decision was made by Dior’s Creative Director Kris Van Assche as since 2012, Pattinson has also been the face of Dior Homme fragrances.

Dior has revealed Pattinson’s new campaign is set to be launched on April 1st. This new revelation comes to no surprise as Pattinson is known for his long-standing affiliation with the fashion house and for beginning his modelling career at the age of twelve. For a man that has been involved in the fashion industry for the most of his life, it’s not only fitting, but it is about time he starts his designer label. Honestly, FIB wouldn’t even be shocked if Pattinson becomes the Creative Director for Dior in a few years…

I’ve started making clothes. For the last two years, I’ve been visiting producers and craftsmen. There’s already quite a few pieces. I love doing it. My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills. In Los Angeles it’s really easy to work with denim and do workwear inspired clothes. In England I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends… But I’m not going into too much detail, I don’t want to jinx anything… – Pattinson to Numerò
