A new trailer for the highly anticipated Tarzan film was released this weekend, the movie features Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan, accompanied by some of the greats. Oscar nominees Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond), with Oscar winner Jim Broadbent (Iris), and two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained) and Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) as Jane. Based on the beloved Edgar Rice Burroughs story David Yates (Harry Potter) is set for a big year having directed this film before starting production on the new ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them’.

The trailer is a whirlwind of jungle scenery, sweeping shots of the forest roof and the power of animals. Mix this with a shirtless Alexander Skarsgård swinging from trees and Margot Robbie being a not-so-distressed damsel and you’ve got a hit on your hands.

The Legend Of Tarzan opens in 2D and 3D across Australia on the 7th July 2016. Check out the new trailer below and start counting down the days.
