Streetwear Mastered: For Upcoming Streetwear Designers

If recent runways have taught us anything, it’s that streetwear has arrived into the world of high fashion. These untraditional fashion designers aren’t coming out of traditional fashion schools, so where are they coming from?

Streetwear is as much a distinct fashion movement, as it is a culture promoting a sense of individuality. Niche circle publications like Hypebeast and HighSnobiety serve as the insiders guide to anything and everything street. The Streetwear: Mastered online program allows users the opportunity to join a global network, using technology to devise new methods of teaching, connecting and inspiring.

Mastered’s 15-week online program offers expert advice for the world’s creative types, and those interested in taking their streetwear brands to the next level. This program is for the next generation of leaders who have brands, but need a helping hand in moving to the next level. The course promises a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from those at the top of their profession, including Virgil Abloh (Kanye West Collaborator), Rob Jest (Alife) and Jörn Haas (Hypebeast), and many more streetwear influencers.

Mastered is known to host the ‘professional development for people who already own the industry’ making their newest instalment the most exciting yet. “I’m into the idea of not just serving myself,” says Abloh, “I’m looking to see what our generation and the one behind us has to offer in terms of credible design.”

The program is set to launch on May 10, taken entirely online, featuring video lessons, regular feedback and one-to-one sessions with street wear experts. Students taking the course are given the opportunity to learn more about their own brands, their place in the market, community growth and ultimately elevate profitability.

Business of Fashion has also launched a similar series of online courses, for those eager to break into the industry.
