Capturing the colourful and vibrant essence of the 90’s, We Are Handsome presented a Resort 2017 Collection like nothing we have seen before. The runway was a dark, industrial and moody set, complete with a giant extraction fan inspired by an underground urban landscape. Old school rock, and bass boosting tunes accompanied the show, heightening excitement as the show went on.

The husband and wife combination, Jeremy and Katinka Somers, showcase intricate designs and elegant cuts of resort-wear collection through to swimwear, even offering surf-friendly long-sleeved alternative. The collection referenced a generation of acid  wash and hip hop, through bright, fluorescent colours and geometric shapes and prints. High cut swimwear and racy low cuts left little to the imagination, with a garment to suit every style. The hyper graphics, colour clashing and racy mood of the collection just oozed an overall confidence, which seemed to be infectious.

Hair Director Gareth Lenagh for KMS California opted for a slick, wet look for We Are Handsome’s 17 Resort collection. Hair was scraped back from the face, with a wet look texture. Gold hair pins were placed either side of the back of the head, with the remaining hair left loose and textured.

The event was attended by global VIPs, local and international press and buyers along with a strong front row celebrity attendance with big names like: Christine Centenera, Sarah Ellen, Leah Simmons,  Kate Peck and Charlotte Caslick.
