James Franco Outdoes Himself In Vampire Lesbian Thriller

James Franco has given us a lot to be thankful for in the past. Comedies jam packed with other celebrities, short stories, movies based on said short stories in which he plays the creepiest character available , real life sex scandals where he channels creepy characters and consistently amusing Instagram posts. In his latest endeavour to ‘Out Franco’ himself the actor has remade the 1996 cult classic ‘Mother, May I sleep With Danger’. The original film saw Tori Spelling fall for a boy her mother doesn’t approve of, in an act of rebellion she dates him anyway, only to be kidnapped by said fraudulent boyfriend and saved by her mother. This 90’s thriller wasn’t enough for Franco, it’s been 20 years since the original and in that time audiences became a tad harder to shock. In an attempt to ‘ReVamp’  the movie Franco went above and beyond on his cringeworthy but oh so exciting adventure.

You guessed it, the latest version of the film will be a lesbian vampire drama starring the enigma himself as well as Tori Spelling, this time in the role of the mother. Proving that there are PLENTY of roles for women over the age of 40 who aren’t Meryl Streep.

The movie will premiere on LifeTime on June 18, straying from their usually tame broadcasting to allow us to revel in the “Twisted Mind of James Franco”. That’s an actual line from the trailer… The one he created, bless his egotistical socks.

There is enough fake blood and cheesy dialogue in the trailer to excite any fanatic attracted to niche, camp cult films. It should be safe to say that this movie wont be one soon forgotten, who needs critical acclaim when you win over millennial film buffs.

Check out the trailer below, organise your viewing schedule and if you have time devise a drinking game, this one’s sure to be a doozy.
