Series three of David Lynch’s iconic series Twin Peaks is set for release through Showtime next year, but anticipation for the show is already building, due to a re-release of the 1990 original score. On August 6, record stores across the U.S held “Coffee & Cherry Pie Pre-Sale” events ahead of today’s re-release. Today, Mondo Tees (previously Death Waltz records) will re-release Antonio Badalamenti’s music on 12 inch “Damn Fine Coffee” coloured vinyl records.

The cover art is designed by Sam Smith, and features the iconic zig-zag tile pattern found in the Twin Peaks Black Lodge. In keeping with the show’s original aesthetic, the 12 inch vinyl is pressed in a colour described as “Damn Fine Coffee.”

In a press release for the Mondo Tees, Badalamenti commented “This is my defining work as a composer and I’m happy it will get a fresh listen.”
