Stranger Things Season Two is in Production

We were left with too many questions at the end of season one. Why is Nancy with Steve? What was that slug that came out of Will’s mouth and the question that everyone wants answered, what happened to Eleven? With production for season two starting we cant wait to find out what is on the cards for this season…

Creators the Duffer Brothers have decided that when Stranger Things returns it will have jumped ahead a year. One of the problems when working with young actors is that they are constantly growing and changing appearance, making it difficult for the film makers to pick up where they left off.

Charlie Heaton, who is returning to the show as Jonathan Byers, told Entertainment Tonight, “I think they wanted to let things settle, but also there are kids in the show — the actors also have grown in a year. So, we couldn’t have followed straight on.”

Along with this jump forward season two is also set to gain some exciting new talent with Sean Astin and Paul Reiser bringing their acting chops to the table along with Danish newcomer, Linnea Berthelsen.

Matt Duffer gave us an insight into what we can expect from season two, telling Variety, “We kinda just peeled back the curtain and revealed a tiny bit of the Upside Down. So we definitely want to explore a little bit more.” Will we see more trips to the mysterious Upside Down this season?

Season two has already gone into production and fans went crazy for the image released on social media of the shows first table read.

Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eggo loving child with telekinetic powers, can be seen sitting at the table alongside her co-stars. Does this mean she is returning for season two? We think so!

Matt Duffer told Variety that “we like the idea of potentially putting her and Hopper together.” Does this mean we will see them pair up in the next season? Well for the answers to that we will just have to wait and see.

Stranger things will air on Netflix in 2017 and we can’t wait!
