Six foot two, a Scotman and a successful film career. This is no other than the prestigious Sean Connery. Now lets see the man behind the number… 007.
Connery is best known for his portrayal of James Bond, starring in seven Bond films between 1962 and 1983. His film career also includes such films as Marnie, Murder on the Orient Express, Highlander, The Untouchables, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Hunt for Red October, Dragonheart, The Rock, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Sean Connery was born in Fountain bridge, Edinburgh, to Euphemia, a cleaning woman, and Joseph Connery, a factory worker and lorry driver. Connery claims he was called Sean, his middle name, long before becoming an actor.
