Winehouse’s emotionally charged music uniquely intertwined jazz and hip-pop and reached millions of listeners. She released two albums in her career, Frank and Back to Black. Winehouse was well known for her unique image, particularly her large beehive styled dark hair and her thick black eyeliner.

Sadly, Winehouse’s life was punctuated by controversy, throwing almost constantly in the tabloids. Amy Winehouse lost her life at the age of 27 from alcohol poisoning, leaving fans devastated. Throughout her career and beyond her death she has been highly regarded and awarded as one of the most talented musicians of her time who has left an inconceivably significant legacy in music.
