5 New Tracks You Need In Your Life This Week

There is so much amazing new music being released almost constantly that its almost impossible to keep up so FIB has done the hard work for you. Here are some of our favourite new releases of the moment.

The XX – Say Something Loving
We know that the new album from The XX came out in January but they just released the track “Say Something Loving” as a single along with its official video and we are swooning. The song is a tribute to love and all its beauty. You can’t not fall in love with the ethereal voices of lead singers Romy and Oliver.

All Our Exes Live In Texas

“Fair Warning: this foursome is the most badass female folk band around.” The all female Sydney based band All Our Exes Live In Texas tell it like it is on their website bio. The band features all four women on vocals as well as a ukulele, mandolin and accordion. They have shared their newest album When We Fall and their eclectic songwriting talent shines through. “The Devil’s Part” is the first track from the album and with angelic harmonies combined with a tenacious attitude, it’s a track you will have on repeat.

FKJ – We Ain’t Feeling Time

Everyone needs a song with a sultry saxophone solo matched to a ta-ku type beat in their life and FKJ has delivered. FKJ, also known as French Kiwi Juice, is a skilled multi-instrumentalist and is well known in the Parisian electronic music scene. FKJ has recently released his eagerly awaited self-titled first full album and his growing fan base are loving the luscious jams he has thrown out for us.

Confidence Man – Bubblegum

Get ready to dance with this high energy song that will have you singing along to with your friends immediately. This is the perfect song for when you’re feeling a silly and need to let it all out. This triple j unearthed artist has given us the track to pump us up for the rest of the week.

Ebhoni – What You Want (prod SOS)

Ebhoni is a 16 year old high school student and a wildfire on the music scene. She has had a relationship with music her entire life, recording her first album when she was only 12 years old and gaining popularity through youtube videos of her performing. Her recently released new track “What You Want” is a sweet track to kick back and groove to and shows an emotional maturity well beyond her age. Teen sensation Ebhoni is one to watch.
