The wait is almost over for Orange Is the New Black fans as the official trailer was dropped by Netflix this morning.
With season four ending the way it did, and having to wait almost a year to see the aftermath unfold, the season five trailer is everything we could have hoped for and more. Our first proper look at the new season opens where the last left off: in the tense scenes after Poussey’s death when Dayanara turned a gun on a Litchfield officer and the rest of the prison rioting.
The full-length trailer proves that this season will be one unlike the rest. Taking place over just three days, the trailer shows that Litchfield has been taken over by the inmates and they have a list of demands for how they are treated. With a sneak peak at a contraband phone and the flashing cameras that have Flaca and Maritza’s attention, it looks like their demands have been heard by the outside world.
