Ever wanted to solve a crime Sherlock Holmes style? Well now you can, thanks to Sydney’s Powerhouse Museum.
This week the Powerhouse Museum opened their newest exhibition of the ‘International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes’, which is being heralded as Sydney’s largest interactive mystery.
Inspired by the growing popularity of escape the room experiences, as well as the undeniable popularity of Sherlock Holmes, this interactive exhibition allows visitors to literally step into the Victorian world of pop-culture’s’ favourite Consulting Detective. Test your problem-solving skills in an interactive murder mystery – Sherlock Holmes style!
In addition to being Sydney’s largest interactive mystery, the exhibition is a one-of-a-kind experience that explores 120 years of Sherlock; from the original books by Sir Author Conan Doyle, the BBC Cult Classic (starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock), the US show Elementary and even the Robert Downey Jr movies.
It is also the most definitive Sherlock exhibition ever with original manuscripts and first editions of the beloved books; sets, costumes and behind the scenes displays from the T.V. Shows and movies.
Whether you’re a huge fan of the T.V. Shows or the books, of even if you’re just a huge fan of solving mysteries, or even just a history aficionado the International Exhibition of Sherlock Holmes has something for everyone at any age.
The Exhibition runs until the 10th of October this year. To buy your tickets click HERE.
