Jumanji 2

Yep, Jumanji is back, but we hope you like change! The sequel to the iconic Robin Williams, 1995 original Jumanji has been moulded into a comedic and almost goofier version of the original. In fact, it is hard to call it a version’ of the original film at all.  The plot for the sequel consists of four high school kids in detention stumbling upon a video game (yep, not a board game) where they are sucked into the games’ forest-like universe and embody the characters in the game, not themselves. It is almost unfair to call the movie a sequel to the original as the plot has changed significantly, but hopefully, the movie will live up to all of our expectations. The movie will be released on the 26th of December 2017.

A Bad Moms Christmas

Following off from the successful comedy Bad Moms released in July 2016, the famously, crazy moms are back just in time for the holidays!  In this sequel, the moms venture down the path of holiday preparation antics making sure that this year they “take Christmas back.”  The trailer gives a pretty good insight into the film, showing that the sequel carries the same, if not similar, comedic approach as the first movie. The movie will officially be released on the 3rd of November 2017.

Cult of Chucky

Yet, ANOTHER remake of the famous Chucky franchise is set to hit your screens this year. Seven movies later, the little creep of a doll is back and looking for some fresh blood. The premise of most, if not all of the Chucky movies is that of a small, red-headed doll that comes to life and goes on a killing rampage. Conquering the dolls rampage always proves more difficult than you think as everyone in the movie fails to believe that a murdering-doll is coming to get them. But he is. You all knew that. When will they learn?!?! The movie is set to hit your local cinema screens on the 3rd of October 2017.

The Greatest Showman

It’s showtime! Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya are all taking part in the new movie The Greatest Showman – a show-stopping movie based around the idea of a man desperately seeking employment and instead, looks down a different path.  Set in a time long gone, the film revolves around the creation of a circus-like show highlighting uniqueness from bearded ladies to dwarf men and a crew of talented performers emphasising individuality, love and family.  The movie is set to hit your screens on the 25th of December 2017.
