Calling all Star Trek fans, you’re gonna love with Gucci’s new Fall/Winter ad campaign. Inspired by classic 1950s and 60s sci-fi movies, the campaign is everything aliens and spacecrafts and somewhere in the campaign is some fashion (I think).
According to Gucci, “this season the collection is transported to a parallel universe where a mixed cast of humanoids, aliens, robots and earthlings unite for the Gucci invasion from a galaxy far, far away.”
Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign is titled “Gucci And Beyond” and was given its first sneak peak on the fashion house’s Instagram page back in April this year with videos that almost resembled that of a casting. Casting who exactly? Yep, you guessed it, aliens. Congratulations to all the aliens who got the part in this seasons campaign.
The campaign, though an odd choice for the Italian fashion house, proves to be a ‘composition rich in imagination and fantasy’. To see the full campaign video, see below.
