A teaser trailer for Jennifer Lawrence’s forthcoming horror flick Mother! has dropped and at the very least it should leave you with a phobia of answering the front door… if not, tripping up a flight of stairs in an act of pure J-Law-esque incoordination as you flee from a creaky floorboard.
The Paramount film, directed by Darren Aronofsky purports to be a psychological thriller revolving around the test of one couple’s relationship as they deal with uninvited guests in their otherwise tranquil home. The film also stars Javier Bardem, Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Judging by the teaser trailer, we can probably assume that these “uninvited guests” are paranormal in nature, but until we can get our hands on a longer clip, it’s anyone’s guess. All we know is, J-Law looks like she’s about to soil herself… and we’re bloody keen.
Mother! is set to hit cinemas on the 15th of September.
