New Form launches on Sunday the 8th of October in Enmore. Touted as a “curated market for lovers of fashion and culture”, the market-slash-popup promises to deliver a unique space for local designers and labels to fare their wares.
The free event boasts an all-local lineup of everything from boutique fashion labels and vintage upcycled garments, to ethically sustainable and avant-garde jewellery. Throw in some handmade ceramics, locally produced beats and everyone’s fav festival food (Turkish Gozleme, duh) and you’ve got a bloody ripper Sunday arvo on your hands.
But don’t go stumbling into the trap of assuming this is just your usual arts and crafts fair. New Form aims to be the one-stop-shop for local fashion labels and collectives to showcase their wares – you know, minus the unsightly bargain bins of mass-produced plastic jewellery.
And as if this event could sound any fucking cooler, New Form will be donating all proceeds from the sale of their tote bags to the Black Dog Institute.
