It’s been almost two years since the hippity-hoppity jazz man has released solo music. But now the .Paak is back with a new single called ’Til It’s Over’.
He’s featured time and time again for a number of artists – most recently with the likes of Kaytranada, Moonbase and Rapsody – but now Anderson .Paak has finally released a bit of fire with his own name dominating the title. ’Til It’s Over’ sounds a lot like a silky tune that rap lovers and electronic music fans alike will enjoy. But as always, the best part of the number are Anderson’s soothing, raspy vocals.
Funnily enough, Anderson’s single first featured on an Apple advertisement with UK sensation FKA Twigs, the main feature of the ad, strutting her dancing prowess and even adding a little acting to her repertoire. It’s an interesting collab (if you can call it that), but I sure wouldn’t be complaining if the two ended up in the studio together.

I, for one, am hoping that the single features on Anderson .Paak’s impending solo album set for release later in 2018. The single reminds me of his feature on Kaytranada’s ‘Glowed Up’, and that’s definitely a good thing. Here’s to hoping he continues down that direction with the release of his new album!
