Paralympian Dylan Alcott has just launched his new project ‘c’, a festival boasting a banging line-up and with an even better cause at the heart of it.
A long term inspiration for all those with disabilities, Dylan Alcott has just taken the next step in implanting his legacy on Australia and beyond, announcing a brand spanking new music festival promoting the ABILITY of the disabled community this April.
The tennis champion and radio host hybrid announced the inaugural ‘Ability Fest’, a festival that will be taking place in Coburg, a suburb 8km north of the Melbourne CBD. A small distance to travel for Melbournites considering the stellar lineup, with artists such as Boo Seeka, Tkay Maidza and Motez all ready to get rowdy for a great cause.
Be sure to get your tickets, as 100% of funds raised are to be funnelled straight into the ‘Dylan Alcott Foundation’, a charity focused on increasing the self esteem of young individuals with disabilities. The money raised will go towards offering scholarships, training and more.
