Rick Owens may just be the most Renegade of them all, breaking every convention including his company being independent. His collections and runway shows are thought out and shocking. Owens also broke convention by reconsidering his sexuality, having been openly gay but now married to Michele Lamy, whom he describes as his better half. His aesthetic is dark, monotone and edgy and what might be considered too specific or pigeon holed, is a financial success.
