Bazzi and Camila Cabello Join Forces for A Heavenly New Rendition of ‘Beautiful’

Previous tour-mates turned collaborators Bazzi and Camila Cabello have released their highly anticipated remix of ‘ Beautiful’.

Breakout performer Bazzi, the solo artist responsible for the viral hit, ‘Mine’ (that song featured on a Snapchat filter) is once again domineering the charts with a fresh rendition of his acclaimed single ‘Beautiful’. Now produced with the heavenly vocal accompaniment provided by none other than Camila Cabello, the remix is guaranteed to reach ‘Havana’ levels of success. The Michigan born singer-songwriter and the Cuban chart-smasher are no strangers to each other’s creative capabilities. Cabello was joined by Bazzi on her sold out Never Be the Same tour, and it was here that the former Fifth Harmony member fell for the humble origins of the newly revised single. 

Like its title, ‘Beautiful’ is a simply endearing and profound love ballad.  A purely celestial venture in pop music, the single melds rippling harp chords with a complementary rhythmic thud through the verses. While the instrumental efforts transports listeners to a divine realm, it’s the vocal collaboration that exudes bliss. Cabello enters the track equipped with a impeccably gentle range, offering a seamless, cohesive transition from Bazzi’s previous verse. 

While it may be painfully cliché to say the collaboration is a match made in pop heaven, the creative energy the pair share is undeniable. Bazzi discussed the journey of collaborating with a like minded artist such as Cabello in Warner Music’s official press release:

Working with Camila is really cool because she gives a similar vibe of what I’m trying to portray. A nod to ‘80s nostalgic music that really creates an experience. I think she really captures that and I’m excited for people to hear our moment together.

The single became a stand-out on Bazzi’s breakthrough album Cosmic, released in April this year. The debut album has already been streamed a whopping half-a-billion times and this kid’s only 20. The track co-written by the pair is now available on streaming services, and fans can watch the Godly music video here.
