Potterverse Looking Better Than Ever In Final ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Trailer

With only seven weeks to go until the big release, the final trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has finally been released.

The trailer teases us with just a hint into Newt’s latest adventure, after a conversation with Dumbledore pushes him to Paris. Grindelwald is doing what Grindelwald does best; being a nuisance who tries to convince other wizards to come out of hiding and join the dark side of magic.

We’re even treated to fan-fave, funny-man Jacob Kowalski, whose utter confusion as a No-Maj provides just the right amount of comedic relief that a film such as this one needs.

The trailer also confirmed one of the oldest Harry Potter fan theories; Nagini wasn’t always a snake. In Harry Potter we know her as Voldemort’s sidekick and Horcrux, but the Fantastic Beasts trailer shows that she had a life way back when; as a travelling circus performer. Confirmed by J.K. Rowling herself, Nagini is a maledictus. For all those muggles out there, a maledictus is “a term used to denote a female individual whose blood had been cursed from birth, and would eventually lead her to turn into a beast.”

Earlier this week, in the lead up to the release of the final trailer, the film’s official Twitter account shared ten stunning promotional posters.
