Yesterday rising British star, Mahalia, released the stunning video that accompanies her latest musical offering, One Night Only.
In collaboration with Kojey Radical, the song and stunning visuals tell both sides of the narrative when it comes to stereotypical casual-sex relationships. To tell the female perspective, Mahalia and a group of friends use the platform to hold their heads high and glow with confidence, while Kojey Radical attempts to defend the male perspective.
“This is my favourite video yet. I’m so happy I could work with Kojey on this one,” said Mahalia in a media release for the music video. “One Night Only is so special to me and I got to include some of my favourite girls. Hope you love it as much as I do!”
One Night Only is a song from Mahalia’s well received Seasons EP. The EP is reflective of Mahalia’s unique style and tone of voice, combining old-school soul and atmospheric synths with R&B/pop leanings.
The British artist will be touring Australia throughout December and January. You can catch her at Falls Festival in Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle and at Field Day in Sydney on New Years Day.
