Hailey Bieber Hosted 2019’s Americans in Paris Cocktail Party

Paris Fashion Week is almost as much about the “who’s there” as much as the “what’s there”, and a cocktail party to celebrate emerging American Designers held in the City of Lights is no different.

Hosted by American sweetheart, Hailey Bieber, the aptly named “Americans in Paris” cocktail party celebrated and showcased the 2018 Fashion Fund Finalists.

The talented list of finalists included: Batsheva Hay of Batsheva, Emily Adams Bode of Bode, Christian Cowan, Danielle Corona of Hunting Season, Jonathan Cohen, Matthew Adams Dolan, Raul Lopez of Luar, Kerby Jean-Raymond of Pyer Moss (last year’s winner), Rebecca de Ravenel and Scosha Woolridge of Scosha.

Hailey and her new hubby were the cover stars of Vogue’s March edition and she looked just as stunning at the party as she did on the cover. Not to be missed in a neon yellow number by Matthew Adams Dolan she certainly played her part as hostess exceedingly well, keeping her high profile guests entertained and fed with the best of the best.

Sipping on champagne and snacking on goat cheese tartlets, mini sliders and chocolate chip cookies (how à l’américaine), the guests made their way through each room of the party, choosing pieces from each designer’s collection.

The hostess was most definitely not in bad company, with the guest list including not only the names of the aforementioned designers but also the Hadid sisters, Naomi Campbell, La La Anthony, Odell Beckham Jr., Ebonee Davis, Laura and Kristopher Brock of Brock Collection (the Fashion Fund 2016 winners) and Virgil Abloh, just to name a few.

The party was wrapped up much later than expected because well, time flies when you’re having fun – probably had nothing to do with the great food, guest list or location? The Fashion Fund winner won’t be announced until early November, but the Americans in Paris cocktail party sounded like a win for all involved.
