After The Lockouts II: Gladys’ War On Music Selected As Finalist For Sanctuary’s 2019 International Film Festival: Best Documentary

Fashion Industry Broadcast and Style Planet TV are proud to announce the selection of our special feature length sequel documentary in our first film festival for 2019, with more to follow.

Following on from the success and critical acclaim received from our first documentary, After The Lockouts that explored the death of Sydney’s nightlight thanks to the harshly imposed Lockout Laws;  we endeavoured to share the continuous injustice imposed on the festival and live music industry of Sydney at the hands of the Berejiklian government in our sequel documentary.

Whilst this film explores the many unseen elements behind the “Nanny State” in NSW. This film’s message is bigger than a study of an ill-conceived Government’s War on Music, or how crazy laws killed a Sydney’s nightlife. Its message is this; these days you cannot trust your Government to act in the best interests of the people it was elected to represent.

It’s recognition in the Sanctuary International Film Festival is prestigious given the organisation’s reputation in showcasing and amplifying the voices of independent filmmakers.

Event founder Mike Goldman said: “With entries now from all over the world, this year’s festival has grown to an all-time high and what better place to host it than the premier Sanctuary Cove precinct, neighbour to some of the biggest film productions in the world.”

Following our appearance at Sanctuary International Film Festival, FIB will be holding our exclusive, invite-only world premier for After The Lockouts II: Gladys’ War on Music on December 5th, 2019.

There are still a lot of insidious tentacles of the NSW “Nanny State” that need to be cut off. This fight is not over, and requires ongoing action and vigilance.

Together, perhaps we can put an end to the War on Music.

The Sanctuary International Film Festival will return to The Village Theatre, Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast for the fifth consecutive year on 21 – 24 November 2019.
