TEN PIECES

10 PIECES is the brainchild of dynamic Sydney couple Maurice Terzini and Lucy Hinckfuss. There is something quintessentially cool about Ten Pieces – which has to do not just with the clothes, but also the Bondi backdrop.
10 kilometres away from Carriageworks is the world famous Bondi Beach, and it’s here perched high above the waves at the world famous Icebergs pool which has been emptied out for the occasion where the fifth official 10 PIECES show “Cosmic Runner” went down.

PE NATION

Pip Edwards and Claire Tregoning have been friends since they worked together for iconic fashion label Sass and Bide. Both have an elaborate history within the fashion industry, designing for labels such as TopShop and Ksubi. So when the pair came together to start their own label, it was no surprise that is has been groundbreaking. Separately they are two of the most influential people in Australian Fashion. Together, they have created… PE Nation.
We stopped in to chat with Pip and Claire in the lead up to the most important annual event in Australian Fashion.

DOUBLE RAINBOUU

Mikey Nolan and Toby Jones formed their brand around one simple idea, transforming the classic Hawaiian shirt to be a daily staple of the beach lovers wardrobe. Now in the week before Mercedes-Benz Resort 2020 Sydney Fashion week, the boys from DOUBLE RAINBOUU are preparing for their 3rd showing on this iconic stage.

AJE

Australian ultra-chic label Aje were given the honour of opening this year’s event and they did not fail to impress. The briny scent of the harbour mixes with the smell of fresh makeup by Lancôme in the industrial style warehouses of Campbell’s Stores. Backstage at this incredible venue, design duo Edwina Forest and Adrian Norris were preparing for one of the biggest showcases in their label’s history.
