There is a lot of changes for brides and grooms in the coronavirus pandemic. From a grand wedding by the sea or an outdoor cocktail party; all the ideas of celebrating nuptials have simply been turned on their head. Obviously, the typical surgical mask is for safety and protection, and it is now mandatory in some countries. However, we’re not talking about a regular looking medical mask, we’re talking about one designed to match the bride’s attire. Riva Kalasho, owner of Lace Boutique in the US, turns the medical necessity into a fun opportunity as a wedding accessory. The base of the mask is made from soft cotton that is usually used in baby clothing, and brides can tailor their masks with different details.
“We have different lace fabric, different floral fabrics and then Swarovski crystals can be added,” Riva told the Oakland Press.
There you have it, there is nothing that could stop you from achieving a glamorous vibe on your wedding day. The fashionable mask is definitely the perfect accessory in our pandemic ridden world.
