Champion collaborates with Naruto Shippuden for a one-of-a-kind capsule featuring fan-favorite characters for its first-ever anime collection.

The partnership is part of the brand’s “Be Your Own Champion” programme, which Naruto represents. The project places emphasis on the value of character and remaining true to oneself.

The line includes reverse-weave hoodies and vintage T-shirts for men, women, and children. Hoodies with Naruto, Itachi, Kakashi, and Sakura designs are available in tie-dye, cropped, and oversize styles. The standard Champion motifs are stitched onto the sleeves, with graphic artworks adorning the back and chest. Heritage T-shirts come in white, red, and sand and feature images of Kakashi’s Team 7, The Konaha 11, and Gaara.

The limited-edition collection is available now at Champion’s physical and online stores.

After numerous delays, Kanye West’s follow-up to 2019’s Jesus Is King, initially been set to arrive in July 2020, is set to drop on August 20.

The Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta) was host to West’s first public listening event last month and his second Atlanta listening event has since become Apple Music’s biggest ever livestream – attracting over 5.4 million viewers to the streaming service.

Now, Apple Music displays the revised album release date (August 20), along with a 24-track track-list, on their DONDA page. The Apple listing also states that fans can listen to his Weeknd and Lil Baby-featured single ‘Hurricane’ on the streaming service.

In support of the album’s release, West‘s Yeezy has also teamed up with Gap. The hip hop star’s iconic “Red Round Jacket” is currently available for pre-order on Gap’s website, with shipment scheduled for Spring 2022. Priced at $200 USD, it’s fabricated from recycled nylon and is stamped with a YEEZY Gap brand tag.

Afterpay Day, 2021

Afterpay is once again providing Australia with its largest online shopping event this week, with up to 80% on a variety of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products. It kicks off this Thursday, August 19, at 7 am and runs until midnight Sunday, August 22.

In an Afterpay first, the event also includes unique product drops via a new shoppable AR experience. Big-name companies like as Sephora, Dyson, and Culture Kings are participating in the AR experience – which allows Aussies to interact with products in 3D before purchasing them online.

Katrina Konstas, EVP, Country Manager and Sales APAC at Afterpay says,

“With the new exclusive drops, there’s never been a better time to seize the deals and Pay Better with Afterpay. From fashion and beauty retailers to homewares, sports, hardware and tech, Afterpay Day has something for everyone and Aussies around the country can take advantage of the deals whether they are online or in-store.”

The freckle trend isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The latest Limecrime drop comes in two shades, “Mocha” and “Magenta”, promising to provide the appearance of an effortless and perfect sun-kissed complexion without the sun’s damage. Freckle Pen’s easy-to-use felt tip applicator dots on legit-looking freckles. Two shades cover a range of skin tones, from light to medium-dark. Perfect for your bag on-the-go.

Nike, “Space Hippie O1”

This week, Nike releases two new colours of its sustainability-focused Space Hippie 01 model. Both “Carbon Green” and “Electric Green” pay homage to the sneaker brand’s sustainability focus – carrying on Space Hippie’s “This Is Trash” design and production ethos.

The Space Hippie 01’s upper is made of a “Space Waste Yarn” (recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles, T-shirts, and yarn scraps). Its Crater Foam midsole is also made of reclaimed materials. The shoe finishes with an insole made from ZoomX foam scraps, the same cushioning which creates Nike‘s NEXT% running shoes.

The Nike Space Hippie Collection is one of the brand’s lowest carbon footprint releases ever. Both designs hit the Nike Web Store on August 18, 2021.

The Killers, Pressure Machine

The band’s seventh studio album (and second in a year), paints a documentary-style portrait of small-town survival. The themes place an emphasis on Flowers’ adolescent home of Nephi, Utah, sharply contrasting the arena-rock acoustics of 2020’s “Imploding The Mirage”. This concept album is emotionally intense and explores the notion of human resilience.

According to current Official Charts data, The Killers‘ ‘Pressure Machine’ is already on track to become the band’s seventh straight UK Number One album.
