Grammy-winning singer Adele has showcased her greatest hits and four new releases in a new CBS and Paramount special. The 2-hour segment aired live and included an exclusive interview with Adele chatting with talk-show host Oprah Winfrey.

The special included a pre-taped Adele performing outdoors at Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory with several of her top hits. Also featured were four songs from her most recent album, 30, to be released on November 19. Her new album by Melted Stone and Columbia Records is inspired by her recent divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki, motherhood, and the scrutiny of fame. She opens up about these topics further in her interview with Oprah.

Set in Winfrey’s breathtaking backyard rose garden, the pair discuss the new album, the stories behind the tracks, her divorce, 100-pound weight loss, life as a mother and more.

“I’ve been obsessed with the nuclear family my whole life because I never came from one,” Adele told Winfrey. Making a promise to herself that once she had children, her family would stay together. “And I tried for a really, really long time, and then I was just so disappointed for my son, I was so disappointed for myself,” she said of her divorce.

Watch Adele perform her latest hits, and her exclusive interview with Oprah now on Paramount Plus.
