Welcome back to FIB’s weekly drop list. Here are our favourite new releases for the first week of December!
This week’s highlights include BLACKPINK x Casetify, a Barbie camera collaboration, Marc Jacobs’ two-headed teddy bear and Lancôme x Emily in Paris.
Barbie x Retrospekt
Retrospekt drops its second collaboration with Barbie. The sun-kissed camera is officially brought to you by Mattel and Polaroid. The camera is based on an original Barbie x Polaroid collaboration from 1999.
The plastic-moulded camera housing is brand new, however, built to the original design specifications. It looks exactly like its vintage counterpart. Everything else is made up of refurbished components from cameras made in the 1980s and 1990s. A nice nod to sustainability.
Retrospekt’s team of special technicians ensure that the old components function as new. This latest addition may not be for everyone, but its nostalgic nod to Barbie’s iconic 1970s West Coast aesthetic makes it pop.
The Malibu Barbie Polaroid 600 collaboration comes only a month after Retrospekt released a bright blue Pepsi-branded Polaroid. The Barbie pink and golden yellow camera can also be completely customised. Each camera comes with over 20 stickers that can be used to customise it with cute hearts, dreamy palm trees, cool shades, or even Barbie herself.
Marc Jacobs’ Teddy Bear
Heaven by Marc Jacobs has created a stuffed teddy bear in collaboration with German toymaker Steiff. This collectable plush is 12 inches tall and has a double-headed design. It wears a purple tartan bow around its neck.
Marc Jacobs commemorated the collaboration by designing a grey T-shirt with an image of the stuffed toy across the front. Shana Sadeghi-Ray is the designer of the grey crewneck sweatshirt it wears, with a fuzzy chenille logo.

BLACKPINK x Casetify
BLACKPINK, the global K-pop sensation, collaborates with Casetify to create the first one-of-a-kind line of phone accessories for die-hard fans to represent their favourite singers wherever they go.
The limited-edition collection of tech accessories includes MagSafe wallets, original sticker artwork, and even a Nintendo Switch carrying case. The exclusive drop includes AirPods accessories, Apple Watch bands, wireless chargers, and iPad cases. Custom items include a “BLACKPINK Ticket Case”.
A protective barrier for your cell phone that looks like a concert ticket stub, complete with an autograph from your favourite member, whether it’s Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, or Jisoo.
Not to mention that the “In Your Area” case gives fans of the pop group their own all-access pass, allowing them to take the concert with them at all times.
Sportswear label ASRV connects the gap between classic sportswear silhouettes and innovative new styles. Now, they are teaming up with DuPontTM Kevlar® as part of their ongoing mission to push performance boundaries.
This next generation of sportswear includes a variety of incredibly durable, reflective bags with the urban commuter in mind. The ASRV x Kevlar® CityTrek Collection includes a Backpack, Crossbody Bag, Duffle Bag, and Weekender Bag.
ASRV collaborated with the DuPontTM Kevlar® team to develop d material with a dark grey finish in the daylight. By night, it transforms into complete hi-vis reflectivity. The line is fully optimised for the active urban lifestyle.
Lancôme x Emily in Paris
Lancôme unveils a beauty collaboration in support of Emily in Paris: Season 2. The show comes to Netflix on December 22nd.
The makeup, skincare, and fragrance line draws inspiration from Parisian glamour and Emily (Lily Collins’) style. It also features the main character’s signature heart-shaped and Eiffel Tower bag charm motifs.
Cosmetics, skincare, and fragrances are all part of the collection. The collaboration’s focal point is the 12-shade Emily in Paris eyeshadow palette. Lipsticks in nude pink “French Tea,” classic red “Attrape Cur,” and bold red “Rouge Pigalle” from L’Absolu Rouge will make your lips happy.
Massage the Advanced Génifique Serum into your skin after a long day of makeup for a stronger, healthier complexion.
Mascara, lipstick, a serum, and a special release Idôle Eau de Parfum are also available.
