The nineteen-year-old is the daughter of cricket legend Sir Curtly Ambrose and Bridget Lady Ambrose and hails from Cedar Valley Heights, St. John’s, Antigua. But she spent most of her time in Swetes Village, where her sisters grew up. And now she lives in Atlanta, Georgia where her modelling career is flourishing.

The young star never thought that modelling would become her full-time job,

“Theater was the sole thing I was passionate about. Modeling was not something I thought I would do full-time as a career but maybe as a side job.”

Role Models

This Antiguan beauty has always followed models like Adut Akech and Anok Yai. Although, the highlight of her career was to meet some of her role models like Akech, Gigi Hadid, Cara Taylor and Anok Yai. And she even walked in a show with supermodel Naomi Campbell.

She says that not only they are great models but also an inspiration outside of modelling. Her interest in modelling grew slowly once she moved to Atlanta. But once she’d decided on her plan, things fell into place amazingly quickly.

“One day, I told my sisters that I wanted to start a modelling career and that I would like to begin the process of submitting digitals. That same night, not even an hour after I explained my plan, I received a text on Instagram from my mother agent [Brigeid Models] wanting to sign me.”

Beyoncé has modelled for the Spring/Summer 2022 Fashion season in New York for Proenza Schouler, Carolina Herrera, Staud, Jonathan Simkai. Not only this, but she has also modelled in Milan Fashion Week for Tod’s, Sport Max and Marni. And she featured in Paris Fashion Week for Valentino, Acene Studios, Mônot, Lanvin, AZ Factory.

Beyoncé is also currently studying Theater Arts at Georgia State University.

In addition to being signed to her mother agency called Brigeid Models, she is represented by the talent, branding, public relations, and creative agency called Lions Management. She recently got signed again to Supreme Management, a model management agency out of Paris.

“Creative expression was always the way I best expressed myself and I am thankful to have a career that is my passion. My biggest goal is to be an inspiration to others, hoping to encourage people to create and be their true selves. To get out of your comfort zone and not limiting yourselves due to your own fears. Putting yourself out there is very important because that’s how they find you as well.”

Ambrose encourages young girls who aspire to be a part of the modelling industry. And even after being among the top models after only a short time, she remains humble and still hopes to “be who the other models were for me.” Her day is quite similar to any other teenager which involves staying at home, watching her favourite shows and finding new movies. She always did say that acting is in her heart forever.

It’s obvious that this Antiguan beauty is quite unstoppable.
