A Monday well-spent is at Paris Couture Fashion Week; marking one of the most exciting events on the fashion Calendar for 2022.
On Monday the 24th of January, Paris Couture Fashion Week proved, once again, that timeless chic doesn’t have to be toneless. And finally, after so long, the front row is full. The show starts with couture colossuses Schiaparelli and Dior, then Chanel, Valentino and Fendi. It is a breathtaking exhibition of the spring/summer 2022 collections. From glorious, all-consuming gowns to barely-there works of art, there isn’t a design that walks the runway which isn’t couture at its finest. Here are some of the biggest trends coming out of the occasion…
Serenity and calm within the chaotic world.
90’s nostalgia and barely-there fashion
Embedding of cultural references
The embracing of gender-less designs
Geometric and illuminate style body suits
Art x Fashion
Evoking emotional response without the flashing lights
