The youngest daughter of Lisa Rena and Harry Hamlin, Amelia Hamlin, is turning heads in Milan this week.
Milan Fashion Week is upon us, and so too is the style on the streets. Hamlin is busy impressing fans in a long, Matrix-style leather coat. Fashion week in Milan is occupying every street corner, every inch of the beautiful, historical, and fashion-fuelled city.
Hamlin effortlessly strolls the vicinity, serving up the look. She pairs the outfit with black, mirror sunglasses which complement her black purse. Also seen is a black crop top with low-waisted loose-fitting blue jeans.
Making Her Mark
She is clearly making her mark on the European fashion capital. The previous night she strutted down the George Trochopoulos show at London Fashion Week in a feather-fringed ensemble. She walked for the Yuhan Wang show, held at the BFC NEWGEN Show Space at The Old Selfridges Hotel. She is also featured at New York Fashion Week, whilst modelling a scarlet sequin number for LaQuan Smith.
That night (Tuesday, 22/2/22), she attended a party at The Standard, in a strapless charcoal, figure-hugging gown. She received a kiss on each cheek in a photograph, with Marc Jacobs and his husband Charly Defrancesco.
The Model’s Former Body Problems
The beautiful, long-legged brunette model isn’t simply a pretty face. She reveals her struggles via bravotv. She discusses anorexia over social media, urging fans to “please understand the illness before speaking on it.” She also provides information explaining why she lashed out at her father on an episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”.
“The person displayed in tonight’s episode is not the person I am. It was the person anorexia made me.” She urges her fans not to draw conclusions as to the result of her outlandish behaviour. The star notes that she is in full recovery and much happier now. In hopes of challenging anorexic image stereotypes, and spreading awareness about the reality of the disease.
