Since Rihanna’s late January pregnancy announcement to American rap artist A$sap Rocky, we have been served some of the best celebrity pregnancy looks of all time. To back up this statement- her appearance at the recent Dior Fall/Winter 2022 show during Paris Fashion Week.

The singer/entrepreneur stepped out on Tuesday evening wearing a black lingerie ensemble that you could be described as anything less than marvellous. From the bottom, she wore knee-high black leather boots, black lace G-string panties, a brassiere to match and a black leather coat. Her bump was embellished with a black tulle that was attached to her bra and flowed down to her boots. She wore silver jewels and a half-ponytail to complete the look.

Destroying traditions

Throughout her pregnancy, Rihanna has continued to dismantle the ideas that maternity wear should be angelic, modest, and understated. Instead, she has maintained her distinct, edgy, bad-ass glam style while transitioning into the new phase of motherhood. Rihanna spoke about her maternity fashion during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“I’m trying to enjoy it as much as I could. And fashion is one of my favorite things so, you know, we’re defying what it even means to be pregnant and maternal,”
