Betsey Johnson’s Knix Collaboration
Knix and Betsey Johnson are dropping an intimates collection that reflects the New York designer’s punk-like roots.
“I’m nuts for Knix,” says Johnson in a release. “I’ve never had so much fun collaborating with a design team who understands Betsey Johnson while being able to create pieces that I, myself, want to live in everyday.”
The line is available from April 12 and includes nightgowns and sleep sets, three bras, two underwear styles, and a leak-proof version of one of Johnson’s most popular designs.
“It’s all about having a little fun with underwear,”
Johnson tells Refinery29 of the collection. “When they asked me to work with them, it was more using my prints and getting kind of a personality into the garments.”

Britney Spears is Pregnant
Britney’s good news comes thru a statement on her Instagram account, revealing that what she initially believed to be just a food baby is actually a very real human baby – which she is expecting with fiancé Sam Asghari.

The Duchess of Sussex will be in The Hague, Netherlands, later this month to help kick off her husband’s Invictus Games. It’s an international sporting competition for wounded service members and veterans. Per Instyle, Markle is attending the games, which take place from April 16–22.

The Duchess of Cambridge isn’t new to the Invictus Events; she and Prince Harry made their first public appearance at the 2017 games in Toronto. Virgil Abloh was honoured at the Grammys as a ‘Hip Hop Designer’?
Virgil Abloh’s persona has always been a source of consternation. By the time he died at the age of 41, the designer had taken on the roles of DJ, producer, brand founder, engineer, and visual artist throughout his career.
When the 2022 Grammys referred to him on 4 April, Abloh was a “Hip Hop Fashion Designer”. The tribute took place during their ‘In Memoriam’ segment. Did they not know who Louis Vuitton’s artistic director was?
It’s no secret that Virgil Abloh has a history with the Hip Hop genre. His work with Kanye West and others is well-known.
Abloh frequently invited hip hop artists to participate in his Louis Vuitton and Off-White runway shows. However, his resume was extensive, and his influence spread far beyond the fashion world. Labelling him “Hip Hop” is definitely an unusual way to honour him at the Grammys.

As the epidemic loosens its grip, it’s the latest indicator of a strong return to destination fashion shows. As previously reported, Pucci will go to Capri on April 28 to reveal its first Camille Miceli designs, while Dior will have a runway show for Maria Grazia Chiuri’s pre-fall 2022 women’s ready-to-wear collection on April 30 in Seoul.
